- After 1866 a town was built near a rail center. At Strei river bridge was a bloody battle in February 9th, 1849. For the commemoration of the victory an obelisk was set. Nowadays the obelisk can be found in the courtyard of the Catholic church.
- The Ocskay park and arboretum-it is a 70 hectares area consisting of about 2000 plants (tree and shrub). In the summer of 1816, Kazinczy Francisc stayed here and on his favourite place stands a monument. This place is excellent for a walk, relaxation and rest.
