- The Boli Cave is 8 km before Petrosani town on the left side of the road. It is a small limestone cave carved by a brook. It is 10 to 20 km high with a depth of 75 km. Here were built several bridges crossing the brook. The acoustics is excellent and it is a perfect ballroom and concert place.
- The Parang Mountains are 10 km away from Perosani town. It can be reached to 1600 m high with the gondola lift having the possibility of skiing in winter and going on an excursion in summer.
